Full lace wigs are unlike traditional wigs. A full lace wig appears as if the hair is growing directly from your scalp. Each hair strand is individually hand tied to a lace (mesh like) base cap, which allows for a free flowing head of hair that can be parted in any direction, and even worn in a high pony tail or updo!

How long do lace wigs last?
How long your unit last depends on several things. The quality of hair used, usage, handling, care and removal practices. The appearance of the hair on the human virgin hair units can last over 2 yrs more, it's important to take special care of the hair as your own. The hair on Bisola Hair silk top units can last for years with proper conditioning and good maintenance, it is also important to take special care of the hair as your own. Following the care instructions listed here and using suggested products will extend the life of your unit. Just like with shoes, it's best to have more than one in your "hairdrobe" to rotate.

I have a full head of hair, can I wear a lace wig.
Sure, you must make sure your hair is prepared as flat as possible by wrapping or braiding. You'd then place a stocking cap (in the color of your scalp) over your hair in order to simulate a natural scalp.

Do I have to shave my hairline to wear lace wigs?
Absolutely not! You do not have to shave your hairline in order to wear lace wigs. The lace wig unit is adhered to the skin just past your natural hairline.
When taking your measurements be sure to take into account the space needed to apply your unit past your natural hairline.

Can I apply heat to the hair on my lace wig unit such as curling or flat irons?
Yes, Bisola Hair lace wig units are made using 100% human virgin/raw hair so you want to treat the hair as you'd treat your own. As with your own hair excessive heat styling will eventually cause damage. Unlike your own hair this hair is no longer living, so retaining moisture is a major factor in maintaining a healthy looking head of hair on your lace unit. Try to keep heat styling to a minimum, once a week if at all would be best, roller setting the hair is a great alternative to curling irons and it is always recommend to air dry the hair, however the hair can be blown dry.  Note: When heat styling your hair be sure to use a silicone based heat protection serum such as Silicon Mix shine serum. What are bleached knots?
Bleached knots are the end result after applying a bleaching solution to the knotted portion of the hairs on the underside of the lace cap. Bleaching the knots of dark colored hairs enhance the illusion that the hair is growing from the scalp by making the knots less visible. Note: This process is not needed for lace wig units with lighter colored hair.

What are baby hairs?
Baby hairs are short fine hairs that are placed at the hairline for a more natural look. They can be placed at the front, on the side temple area, the back or around the entire perimeter.

How long will my custom order take?
